Earth and Space chooses to work on projects that make a positive difference to community or humanity. There is a larger scope of interest, but for construction, the above are primary. Safety, integrity, and meeting or exceeding the project or program objective must be your top three priorities. Any company that even remotely believes that it will compromise one of those three for the sake of profit is not welcome. As far as profit, simply be as honest as you possibly can about fair cost to do the job right and firmly commit to meet the objective in compliance with the above; price is below the 3rd priority in contractor selection. Doing the job right for a fair price is always less expensive and more profitable for all from the lowest service provider to the customer. From personal experience with one of the finest construction companies in the United States, this is sustainable and the only way to fly.
